There is a work God does in a person that nobody else may see.
It happens quietly in prayer, in tears, in surrender, and in the places where we are learning to trust God again.
Sometimes we expect restoration to be obvious.
We want the breakthrough, the answered prayer, the open door, and the testimony.
But before God brings forth fruit, He often works on the roots.
Some of God’s deepest work happens in secret. God Works on the Inside
David prayed: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.”
— Psalm 139:23 (KJV)
David was not simply asking God to change his circumstances. He was inviting God to examine his heart.
This is where true restoration begins.
Sometimes we ask God to change what is around us, while He is quietly changing what is within us.
He teaches us to forgive.
He teaches us to surrender.
He exposes what needs to be corrected.
He heals wounds we have learned to live with.
He strengthens our faith.
And He gradually conforms us to the image of Christ.
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son.”
— Romans 8:29 (KJV)
God is not merely interested in making our circumstances better.
He is conforming us to the image of Christ.
Your Hidden Season Is Not a Wasted Season
Mary experienced things she could not fully explain, yet Scripture says:
“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.”
— Luke 2:19 (KJV)
She treasured what God was doing before others could fully understand it.
There are seasons when God is doing something in you that does not need to be announced yet.
You may be healing.
You may be learning.
You may be rebuilding your faith.
You may be becoming stronger in God’s Word.
Do not despise that season simply because nobody can see it.
Roots grow in hidden places.
Do Not Give Up Before the Fruit Appears
Paul reminds us: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
Notice those words: “In due season.”
There is a season appointed for the harvest, and we are called to remain faithful while we wait.
So if you cannot see the evidence yet, keep trusting Him.
Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep walking in truth. Keep allowing God to work in you.
You may think nothing is happening, while God is strengthening the very roots that will one day carry the fruit.
God Sees the Hidden Work
Perhaps nobody knows how much you have been carrying.
Perhaps you have prayed prayers you could not explain.
Perhaps you have cried and then continued with your responsibilities.
Perhaps you are still waiting for something you have asked God for many times.
Remember this:
God sees what others cannot see. He sees the tears. He sees the obedience. He sees the surrender. He sees the quiet progress.
And He is not wasting your season.
The hidden work is still God’s work.
A Prayer :
Father, Thank You because You see the parts of me that nobody else sees.
Search my heart and reveal what needs to change.
Heal what is wounded, strengthen what is weak, and teach me to trust Your timing.
Help me not to despise the hidden season.
Make me more like Christ, and let the work You are doing in me bring glory to Your name.
When the fruit comes, remind me that it was Your grace that brought it forth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A Word for You
You may feel unseen, but you are not forgotten.
God sees the tears nobody witnessed.
He sees the prayers nobody heard.
He sees the quiet obedience.
He sees the progress you cannot yet recognize.
The hidden work is still God’s work.
Keep trusting Him.
Keep walking with Him.
Keep allowing Him to work in you.
Your roots are growing, even when you cannot yet see the fruit.
SALVATION CALL
If you have never truly come to Christ, this is where it begins.
Jesus is not only the One who hears your pain
He is the One who died to redeem you from sin and restore you to God.
You can pray:
Lord Jesus, I come to You.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of salvation.
I believe You died for my sins and rose again.
I receive You as my Lord and Saviour.
Change my heart, give me a new life, and help me walk with You.
In Jesus’ Name Amen.
If you have sincerely placed your faith in Christ, begin your journey by learning His Word, growing in prayer, and walking in fellowship with other believers.
