Sometimes, surviving becomes our normal.
We wake up, keep going, take care of everyone, smile when we need to, and quietly carry the weight no one sees.
But God never intended for us to live forever in survival mode.
Jesus said:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
— John 10:10
Living fully again begins with surrender.
Surrendering the pain we cannot change.
Surrendering the people we cannot control.
Surrendering the future we cannot see.
Surrendering the need to have all the answers.
Surrender is not giving up. It is placing our lives into the hands of the One who knows the beginning, the middle, and the end.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
— 1 Peter 5:7
Maybe you have spent so long being strong that you have forgotten how to rest.
Today, God is inviting you to come closer.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to pretend the pain never happened.
You can simply surrender.
As you surrender, allow God to teach you how to hope again, dream again, laugh again, and live again.
“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
— Psalm 30:5
Your survival season was not wasted.
God can redeem it.
You are not only the woman who survived. You are a woman God is still restoring, renewing, and leading into purpose.
A Prayer of Surrender
Father, I surrender the things I can no longer carry. I give You my pain, my fears, my disappointments, and my future. Teach me to trust You again. Heal my heart, renew my mind, and lead me into the life You have purposed for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Have You Surrendered Your Life to Jesus?
Perhaps you have been searching for peace, carrying your burdens alone, and trying to find your way without Christ.
Today, you can come home to Him.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
— Romans 10:9
If you are ready to surrender your life to Jesus, pray:
“Lord Jesus, I come to You as I am. I confess that I am a sinner and I need You. Forgive my sins, cleanse my heart, and become Lord of my life. I believe that You died for me and rose again. From today, I choose to follow You. Help me live for You. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer sincerely, your new journey has begun. Begin reading God’s Word, join a Bible believing church, and surround yourself with believers who can help you grow in Christ.
