When God’s Strength Carries You Through

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Introduction

In Part 1, we saw how God used Moses and Gideon despite their weaknesses. But what happens when the struggle remains? What if God doesn’t immediately answer our prayers?

The Apostle Paul faced this very reality. Though he pleaded with God to remove his “thorn in the flesh,” God’s answer was, “My grace is sufficient for you.” Instead of removing the burden, God gave Paul the strength to endure it.

Sometimes God doesn’t change our circumstances right away but He always provides the grace we need to keep going.

God’s Faithfulness Never Fails

Life changes, but God never does.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

Whether you’re facing unanswered prayers, disappointment, or weariness, God remains faithful. The same God who sustained Joseph, Ruth, David, and Paul is with you today.

Four Ways God Uses Weakness

  • Weakness teaches dependence on God (Proverbs 3:5)
  • Weakness strengthens our faith (James 1:3)
  • Weakness develops compassion (2 Corinthians 1:4)
  • Weakness creates a testimony of God’s faithfulness

    A Word of Encouragement

Dear sister, If you are carrying a heavy burden, remember that God sees you. You are not forgotten or alone. His grace is enough, and His strength will carry you.

Conclusion

“When I am weak, then I am strong.” — 2 Corinthians 12:10

True strength comes from depending on Christ. Through weakness, we discover God’s grace and glory.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31

Prayer :Heavenly Father, thank You for being my strength in weakness. Help me trust You fully and rely on Your grace each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Call to Salvation
If you have never truly come to Christ, this is where it begins.
Jesus is not only the One who hears your pain
He is the One who died to redeem you from sin and restore you to God.

You can pray:
“Lord Jesus, I come to You.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of salvation.
I believe You died for my sins and rose again.
I receive You as my Lord and Savior.
Change my heart, give me a new life, and help me walk with You.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

This Week’s Faith Challenge
