Slow Healing Teaches Trust

Instant healing reveals God’s power.

Slow healing establishes confidence in His character.

Isaiah 40:31 declares: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…”

Waiting in Scripture is not passive—it is a posture of faith.

Leaning on God’s Word.
Remaining under His authority.
Expecting according to His promise.

Strength is not self-produced; it is supplied by God to those who trust Him.

Jesus Understands the Process

Christ Himself walked in process.

Thirty years in obscurity.
Forty days in the wilderness.
The cross before the resurrection.

God does not bypass process—He fulfills purpose through it.

Hebrews 4:15 affirms: “We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses…”

Christ understands endurance, and He remains present in every stage.

When Progress Is Not Visible

Healing is not validated by what is seen, but by what God has established.

2 Corinthians 5:7 states: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Faith does not depend on visible evidence.

Faith rests on the finished work of Christ and the integrity of God’s Word.

What is not yet visible is not absent—it is unfolding according to God’s order.

A Prayer for the Process

Father, I stand on Your Word.

What You have spoken is established.
What Christ has finished is sufficient.

Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight.
Strengthen me to remain grounded in truth.

Let my life align with Your will and Your purpose.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scriptures to Establish Your Faith

Meditate on these truths:

  • Romans 10:17 — Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God
  • Hebrews 11:1 — Faith is the substance of things hoped for
  • Joshua 21:45 — Not one word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken
  • Numbers 23:19 — God is not a man, that He should lie

An Invitation to Know Christ

Healing begins with restoration to God.

Christ is not only the One who heals—He is the One who saves.

Romans 10:9 declares: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

You can pray:

Lord Jesus, I come to You.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of salvation.
I believe You died for my sins and rose again.
I receive You as my Lord and Saviour.
Establish my life in You and lead me in truth.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

What is in process is not outside His will—it is advancing according to His purpose.

Stand on His Word.

Walk by faith.

Remain in truth.
