God delivered me from the silent chains of depression, grief, and spiritual oppression. I thought I had arrived at the finish line.

I expected instant peace, joy, and clarity — and for a while, I had it. But soon after, I realized something unexpected:

Deliverance is not the end. It’s the beginning.

🌿 Life After the Breakthrough

After my spiritual deliverance, I woke up with peace I hadn’t felt in years. The fog lifted. The pain loosened. I breathe again.

But then came the questions:

  • Who am I now?
  • How do I walk in this freedom?
  • What happens when triggers return?
  • How do I rebuild when everything inside me feels brand new, but life around me hasn’t changed?

No one told me that freedom has to be practiced. That healing has layers. And that peace, though given by God, can be disrupted if I’m not intentional.

🛠️ Walking in Freedom Takes Practice

Here’s what helped me stay free — and keeps helping me every day:

1. Guarding My Mind

The enemy tried to return with old lies:

“You’re still broken.”

“Nothing really changed.”

I had to answer those lies with truth — out loud.

“I am delivered. I am healed. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36)

2. Reading the Word Differently

I didn’t just read scriptures anymore — I claimed them.

Isaiah 49:24–26 still sits on my mirror. It’s not just a verse; it’s a weapon.

3. Breaking Soul Ties & Setting Boundaries

Deliverance showed me that some people, places, and conversations had to go. Especially people who tried to keep me in the past.

Peace is precious. Protect it.

4. Choosing Stillness Over Striving

I used to think I had to do more to prove I was “better.” But healing doesn’t need performance.

It needs permission — to rest, breathe, cry, rebuild.

🪞 Finding My Identity Again

For years, grief and depression told me who I was:

  • A widow.
  • A woman with a broken heart.
  • A mother barely holding it together.

But God began to show me who I really am in Him:

✅ Chosen

✅ Loved

✅ Restored

✅ Useful

✅ Still becoming

  • I wasn’t what I lost.
  • I wasn’t what hurt me.
  • I am who He redeemed.

💬 For You, Dear Reader

If God has delivered you — from trauma, addiction, depression, or fear — I want you to know something:

You’re not behind. You’re becoming.

Your healing is quiet. Your freedom will feel unfamiliar.

But you’re not alone — and you’re not going backward.

Keep walking. Keep declaring truth. Keep protecting your peace.

📖 Let Isaiah 49:24–26 be your reminder: You are not a lawful captive. You are delivered.

Freedom is your part. Healing is your inheritance.
